Why Depths of Programming Matter in a Chamber

Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce is a community that is invested in the overall success of our region from the large corporations to the solo-preneur working from their dining room table. Our goal is to provide a breadth of programs that will span the needs of our members. We believe when we as a business community do well and come together for the common good of our region, the communities where we do business will benefit and prosper. We invite you to get involved in our programming, volunteer, join a cohort, or share your knowledge.

Vendor Fairs and Regional Pop-ups

Runs: Year Round

Investment: Varies, Contact for more details

In a digital world, it is harder to get in front of the right audience or find the right opportunities. Based on the successes we are seeing from the Acton Pop-up and our Vendor Tables, we are looking to expand these opportunities on a more regular basis bringing our businesses into new areas to meet new people. If you are interested in getting involved or participating in this exciting new initiative, reach out to Jenna Amara at info@mwcoc.com.

The Lab - Member Education Portal

Runs: Ongoing

Investment: Included in membership

We understand that running a business leaves little time to curate all the information you need to stay on top of the latest trends and fresh new information to keep moving your business forward. We’ve got the solution. The Lab will be a curated Member Education Portal where you will find our webinars, forums, special guests, and interviews all in one place.

If you are an expert in your industry and would like to be considered as we put together our production schedule please reach out to info@mwcoc.com.

01. Annual Events

Each year Middlesex West focuses on a few big events that bring our local community leaders together with local business leaders. Our goal is to create opportunities for promotion, increased awareness, as well as fundraising for the Chamber and our scholarship fund.

  • Annual Meeting | Gala Dinner (Spring)
  • Summerfest (Summer)
  • Seasonal Retail & Restaurant Events

In addition, we will also support local community| town events. If you’d like us to know about an event you are having please reach out.

02. Networking Events

If you’ve ever heard of the concept of 6 degrees of seperation you understand how important it is for businesses of any size to have a strategy for finding, building, and maintaining working relationships. Networking is much more than going to an event and talking about what you like to do on the weekends, it is a valuable way to build trust and social currency. We recommend attending networking events with the mindset, what can I do for others and who can I can connect together. The more you take the focus off of yourself, the more people you’ll help, the less nervous you will feel, and the more you will end up receiving in return.

Middlesex West currently has two standing monthly networking meetings Business Breakfast Networking and Networking After-Hours. In addition, quarterly we have a Professional Women’s Networking event. If you’d like to see our full calendar click below.

03. Learning & Resources
