Community

We are a community of local professionals, business owners, companies, and community leaders who are passionate about the health and vitality of our local economy. We work tirelessly in our local neighborhoods and see the value of connecting with other like-minded people to help each other grow our businesses, raise the voice of local business in our area, and give back to our shared region when we are successful. We are affectionately known as the Chamber who has your back.



Social Capital

Doing good makes good business sense. We are a Non-Profit organization and any money we make goes into running the chamber, providing programs, and supporting local businesses in our region. Joining a Chamber of Commerce let’s people in the community know that you are active in the business community and that you care about making sure that the economy in your region continues to grow and thrive.



Brand Awareness

Did you know that there are Chambers of Commerce all over the country? Chambers are well-known as a local resource for businesses and the hospitality and travel industry. We often get calls from people in the community or people in other states looking for referrals or they check out our member directory. Joining a Chamber of Commerce is good for your Brand Awareness and letting people know you are open to serve them.

Our Membership Options

Membership by the numbers:

Memberships are determined based on the number of Full-Time Employee Count. 2 Part-time Employees equals 1 Full-Time Employee.

For Banks and Medical Facilities:

Memberships are for all of your branches and facilities. If your organization has 100+ employees, we highly recommend getting at least the Ambassador Level Annual Sponsorship which will cover your membership dues and include a few event tickets and additional visibility for your organization.

0-10 FTE is $199/yr
11+ FTE is $250/yr

How to pick the right membership?

We do membership based on Full-Time Employee Equivalents or 2 Part-time Employees equaling a Full-Time worker.
If you work on your own or are a 1099 Worker, choose our 0-5 Membership.
If you do not have a business but still want to be a member choose our Community Ambassador Option.

We offer annual and monthly payment frequencies, both are available for auto-renew.

We do ask that you pay your invoice within 30 days of receiving it so you do not incur any late fees or have your membership canceled for nonpayment.

We offer the following in-person hours for Certificate of Origin Stamps and in-person questions. We are happy to meet with you outside of these times by appointment.

Tuesdays:	10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Thursdays:	10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Looking to set up a business counselling session, please email info@mwcoc.com, with your name, email, phone number, and a few possible dates that would work for your appointment. We are doing all business counselling sessions over Zoom for now and we ask that you make every effort to keep your appointment. We look forward to helping you.

How do I join?

It is super easy, simply click on the become a member button above, fill out the form and pay for your membership.

*Note you aren’t officially a member until your application is approved and you’ve paid your membership dues in full.

Do you have a payment plan?

We offer several different payment options.

Pay-in-full with a credit card
Request to be invoiced, we will send a digital invoice, you are welcome to send us a check made payable to Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce
You can choose to pay for your membership monthly. This is a new option that we are introducing. If you don’t see the option on the form, email info@mwcoc.com and we’d be happy to set it up in the system for you.

Can my business be added to the business directory?

Yes, absolutely. Once you apply to join our chamber you are prompted to create a Member Information Center account profile. Here are some tips to get the most out of your profile:

Choose the right categories that someone uses when searching for you.
Provide your contact information and if you have a physical location your address.
Write a great description that not only tells people what you do but gets them excited about checking you out.
Create Member to Member Deals and Hot Deals, providing an incentive for people who find you on our directory is a great way to convert them to a visitor of your location or website.
Share your accomplishments, press releases, and tips, this is another great way to raise awareness about your company.
Add your events to our community website. This is a great way to let people in our community know what is going on and is another place to tell people about your events.

Where can I find my invoices?

Go to Account Settings in the upper right hand of the screen and choose billing. Here you can view all of your transactions and update your payment source.

I received a renewal notice, how do I renew?

You can click the link in the email to pay by credit card for your renewal.
You can also go to the Member Information Center, click Account Settings, Billing, Make a Payment.
- Here you need to check (select) the invoice you’ll be paying, click next, and then follow the prompts.
You are always welcome to pay renewals by check.

Can I try before I buy?

Yes, you can come as our guest to one networking event no charge to you. If you don’t join at that time, the next event you will pay the non-member rate.

This does not apply to Certificate of Origin Stamps for Non-Members, the investment is $30/per document.

This also does not apply to any of our Signature Events: The Annual Meeting, Gala, Summerfest, The Taste of Middlesex.

Can I sponsor or advertise with you without being a member?

Absolutely, we will always consider sponsors and advertisers no matter if they are a member or not, but we do hope you will strongly consider joining our amazing chapter. If you’d like to sponsor or advertise with us, please click here to fill out an interest application.

How can I become more involved in the chamber?

We are so excited to hear that you are interested in getting involved. We can always use volunteers for our events, members to join our committees, and if you have something specific in mind we are happy to chat with you about it. Please reach out so we can schedule a time to meet.
