Amy Kinne

Elected in 2009 to serve a 3-year term on the Board

Amy has been employed by Especially for Pets, a pet food and supply retailer with seven stores in Massachusetts since 1996.

Her first position with the company was as store manager of the Acton location and advertising manager until 2003. Leaving Acton was a bittersweet departure because of her relationship with long-time loyal customers (canine, feline and human) but a great opportunity to advance her career and grow the company.

After opening and managing the Westborough store for two years, she opened the Medway location, then joined corporate headquaters in Newton in 2005 to focus on business development.

Since 2005, she has been project manager for the Acton and Wayland store renovations and the new store opening in Canton in 2009. Her responsibilities include advertising, marketing, public relations, event planning, community outreach and new store design and development.

Prior to joining Especially for Pets, Amy worked for Marshalls in the buying office and Jordan Marsh as a senior department manager of Housewares & Tabletop in Methuen. Amy received her Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She and her husband, Jon, live in Littleton.

Amy happily joined the Board of Directors and is excited to make a difference in the Acton area - a community that is dear to her heart from her years as store manager of the Acton Especially for Pets.
