John has more than 25 years experience in front-line, middle management and senior executive positions.

He is a Principal of Practical Decisions a firm committed to providing practical, professional support for small to medium businesses, in an efficient, cost-effective manner, allowing entrepreneurs to fully achieve their objectives.

As Vice President of Strategic Planning and Development for a $300 million subsidiary of a Fortune 120 company, John was a core member of a management team that doubled revenues and turned one of the most unprofitable divisions into one of the most profitable.

Throughout his career John has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, restaurants, and insurance and risk management. He has been involved in many aspects of business across national and international boundaries. With expertise in strategy and strategic management; marketing and sales; and operations, John has helped small and medium sized businesses achieve improvement through focus, accountability, discipline, and organizational alignment. 

John lead the Board of Directors through a strategic planning process in January 2006. He became a Director, serving on the Board in April 2008. John has accepted the role of President-Elect and will Chair the Board of Directors beginning in April 2010.
