Jonathan Kerr has made it his mission to be involved with non-profit organizations throughout most of his adult life. Beginning with early work in various non-profit clubs and organizations, as well as church youth groups as an advisor and leader, he has volunteered over the past three decades teaching, mentoring, educating and helping adults, youth and those in need

In August 2017, Kerr joined Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce in Acton, MA as Executive Director, a position which combines Kerr’s 27 years of non-profit administration and small business experience, over 25 years working with youth programs, and significant experience coaching rowing for numerous clubs, schools, and colleges.

His experience, training and skills culminate from numerous past experiences, including Executive Director of Danny’s Place Youth Services, Assistant Director/Business & Operations Manager of Community Rowing, Inc., Marketing Director for ARAMARK Corp., Warehouse Management at Rounder Records Corp., 18 years of food service labor and management, collegiate ROTC and perhaps most importantly, having been raised in a Navy family.

Kerr is also a small business owner; Principal of Zogo Entertainment, Corp.; a record label he started in 1995. This rewarding opportunity provides an insight into small business matters, interests and needs.  It has enabled him to tour with royalty producing artists, design sound and lighting systems, work with numerous entertainment acts, and volunteer numerous hours recording and producing a multitude of youth aged bands.

Kerr enjoys helping people and continues to volunteer his time for several organizations, including his church, the Town of Acton Recreation Department, Animal Adventures, and Theatre With A Twist.

Kerr has a degree in English and currently lives in Boxborough with his wife Cassie, sons Aeden and Nicholas, Daughters Dakota and Georgia (born Sept. 1st).  When not at work or busy maintaining the house, Jon and family enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing, biking, beaches and backyard smores.
